Original Victorian mourning cape.
Made from a cotton body it features pleated ruffle detail to the collar and edge of the cape with jet beaded trim running across the body. Hook a d bar closure to the front with a silk long tie to one side as the other has sadly been cut off. Inside lined in a deep chocolate brown cotton fabric.
The cape is in good condition with some minimal bead loss in places but no massive rips or holes.
Being a cape this will fit from a size UK8-18+ comfortably.
Perfect piece for any lover of original Victorian attire.
