Original late 30's early 40's black gabardine and velvet dress.
Elbow length sleeves with simple cuffs, small velvet collar with button down front, fitted waistline with fit and flare style shaping. It's trimmed in velvet stripes with small glass beads detailing it giving a hourglass silhouette. Inside is the makers label and a hand stitched piece of cotton with the original owners name written in pencil.
The dress is in good condition, there is some beads missing in places and the hem has dropped slightly but this is easily fixed.
Amazing piece of fashion history perfect for any collector!
