This is an ultra rare and one of the hard to find Biba items!
An original 1969/70 real leather jacket! For a shirt period in church street while making her " couture range " clothing on the mezzanine floor Barbara designed and sold some limited leather items. Due to costing a lot more than the average biba items not many was sold as only certain people could afford them.
This example is a classic jacket with double buttoned cuffs, wide collar detail with button down front, large pockets and attached belt to the waistline. Inside is pined with the original Biba woven label in the neckline.
The jacket is in good wearable condition but does have some issues, staining under the arms, some marks in places and some seams that could be tightened with new stitching ( see photos ) this said it can be worn as is or treated by a leather professional as the leather is still super soft and will make an amazing and rare example as is or tidied up!
