This is an amazing and rare item.
Its an original 1970's Biba art deco leaping deer bread bin / caddy tin.
Its round in shape with a black body and gold deer and pyramid print all over with red wavy lines. The lid has holes to allow the bread to air inside the tin.
On the back of the lid is stamped Biba with the sun ray logo.
These was sold in their home-wares department and you could buy anything from tea caddies to trays with this print.
This would make a great statement in any kitchen and look amazing as part of a collection. Please see the photos for the condition of the tin, it sadly has suffered with rusting and splits including the joint but this can be glued or used as is.
